Al-Amal Receives The “Most Projects Award” Fourth Year in a Row
Al-Amal School participated in the 67th Annual Central Minnesota Regional Science Fair at St. Cloud State University on February 25, 2017. For the FOURTH year in a row, Al-Amal School received the Most Projects Award. Al-Amal students won a total of 62 awards! This represents an increase of 27% compared to last year.
Al-Amal School dominated the research paper competition by sweeping all awards in this category by winning 17 awards.
Al-Amal students also did exceptionally well in the exhibit category and won a total of 45 awards.  Al-Amal’s awards tally at this competition is as follows:
* 15 Premium Awards in Exhibits
* 6 Premium Awards in Research Papers
* 5 National Broadcom Masters Nominations
* 4 Special Awards
* 17 Merit Awards in Exhibits
– 11 Merit Awards in Research Papers
* 4 Honorable Mention
Premium award winners move to the Minnesota Science and Engineering Fair finals that will be held from March 25-27 at Minneapolis Marriott City Center.
The success of the school at highly competitive events like these is a testimony to the selfless effort that teachers at Al-Amal School make to nurture the future generations.
The school would like to thank Sr. Hala Bazzi and Sr. Rawan Hamade for leading the science fair initiative. We would also like to acknowledge the help and support given by the Academic Excellence Committee members in helping the students improve their presentation skills. Thanks are also due to Dr. Syed Dara for carefully reviewing each project and many other volunteers who helped judge at the school science fair and provided valuable feedback.
The following list of premium award winners will be competing at the Minnesota State Science and Engineering finals.

Please consider sponsoring the 21 teams from Al-Amal who are going to the Minnesota State Science Fair finals in both exhibit and research paper categories.   Sponsorship categories are as follows:  
  1. Platinum Sponsorship – $2500 
  2. Gold Sponsorship        – $1000
  3. Silver Sponsorship      – $  500
  4. Bronze Sponsorship    – $  250

Admissions Are Open!
Al-Amal School is pleased to announce that the 2017-2018 admissions are open. You are welcome to walk the halls of Al-Amal, meet with the school administration, teachers, and take a tour of the building.
Open seats are limited – especially in middle and high school. Therefore, we encourage you to apply early to avoid getting added to the waiting list.
