Elementary Library Curriculum is based on Minnesota Standards

Elementary students are taught about the author and his/her other works in addition to library terms and skills (i.e. using the Dewey Decimal System, book care, and terms such author, illustrator, publisher, editor, etc.). Use of reference materials, doing research and creating reports is included in upper elementary classes.
